You can have this world’s vain riches everything that it holds 

You can have every bit of its money all its silver and its gold 

You can own all the finest houses and a land on a thousand hills 

Just give me the Holy Ghost power this Jesus I can feel

I believe true blood bought salvation, living right sanctification 

With the Holy Ghost manifestation, I believe (oh, I believe)

I believe in healing, I believe in miracles too

I believe in signs and wonders 

And the gifts of the Spirit for you 

I believe in repentance with the life that’s been made new 

I believe in the rapture of the church and Jesus is coming soon

Some people say it just ain’t real, 

That’s alright by me 

Everything I got was born in prayer travailing on my knees 

Well say what you want, say what you will, say emotion’s all I got 

But when I feel the power of the Holy Ghost brother that fire gets hot 

It’s just like fire shut up in my bones,

Filled with the Spirit he was born to prophesy  

The prophet Jeremiah he would lift his voice and cry 

Be quiet folks commanded go home and leave us alone 

But how can you be quiet when there’s fire in your bones 

So people may get offended because I dance and shout 

They say it’s too much emotion and there’s too much moving about 

But don’t tell me to be quiet and go sit down in my pew 

For if you felt like I felt, you’d be shoutin’ too
